Pong Poem
Pong Poem is a bilingual palindrome exploring language, dialogue, and the play of ideas. Inspired by the first commercial arcade game, Pong (1972), it evokes both personal relationships and competitive exchanges, linking conversation to sport. The work reflects on technostalgia, consumption, and the ways games and social platforms keep us engaged. Layers of meaning emerge: each rejection or “no” opens space for dreaming, activism, reflection, or a return of the repressed. The piece invites viewers to consider how limits allow room for possibility.
